What's Omakase Sensei?
Omakase Sensei is a FREE student/teacher introduction service in Gifu and Aichi. We help teachers fill the gaps in their schedules with extra lessons to maximize their monthly income. Our goal is to charge the students less and pay the teachers more, compared with English conversation schools.
Most conversation schools only pay teachers about ¥1500-2000/hour considering the total time spent at work. Students pay the school around ¥6000-8000/hour for a private lesson and the total take for the school on group lessons with 6-8 students is much, much more.
Omakase Sensei, takes pride in paying qualified teachers a very large percentage of the lesson fee (usually ¥4000/hr minimum) because teachers deserve it!

How do I get students?
1) Complete the registration form, indicating the lesson details that best suit you, your schedule and your location.
2) When an available lesson fits your profile, you will be contacted for an interview.
3) If your interview is positive, you will be taken by an Omakase Sensei representative to have a second interview with the student.
4) If the student accepts you as their teacher, the time, location and lesson details, as well as the amount of your payment will be finalized and the lessons will begin.
5) You are paid by direct deposit into your bank account on or before the 15th of the month after you complete the lessons.
